My amazing tailors

I want to introduce you to some of the people behind Leom Designs. I feel so very fortunate to have found amazing people to work with. I started working with them in 2006 and we have grown together ever since. And although my tailors facility is not officially Fair Trade certified, I prefer to call it 'Mutual Gratitude' certified, as we make sure that all is created in such an environment.

I also want to let you know that a lot of the clothing is made by women in their own homes. As the Balinese are very baby happy people, many of the ladies that have had children still continue working on my designs from their homes. The material is cut at my tailors facility and then gets motorbiked to the various villages where they are made within the comfort of their homes. They get paid by the piece so they can work at their own pace, as their family life allows. It is really quite wondrous in these ways.
