In Bali, "hati" means heart, but "hati-hati" translates to "watch out" and is commonly seen on hazard alert road signs. The genesis of this dress's name came when I unveiled my first finished sample to my partner and friend, who jokingly shouted "hati-hati!" as if my mere presence in the dress might cause an accident. While I certainly didn't intend to inflict any beauty-related harm, I can confidently say this dress is a guaranteed head-turner.

Here are a few tips for choosing the right size for the Hati dress:

  • If you have a larger bust, go for the size that fits your bust measurement.
  • If you're smaller on top but curvier at the bottom or have an hourglass shape, consider that the dress's booty area stretches more than the top, so prioritize your sizing based on your bust.
  • The midriff of this dress is incredibly stretchy; some moms have even worn it comfortably during pregnancy!

If you prefer a looser fit on top or don't feel like you have an hourglass figure, pairing the Hati skirt with a looser top might be a good option. This way, you still get the booty-hugging action while enjoying some flowiness on the top. However, you might be surprised by how much you love yourself in the dress compared to just the skirt.

XS - bust: 30" - 34"       waist: 28" - 32"    booty: 34" - 40"

S - bust: 32" - 36"         waist: 30" - 34"    booty: 36" - 42"

M - bust: 34"- 37"         waist: 32" - 36"    booty: 38" - 44"

L - bust: 36" - 40"         waist: 34" - 38"    booty: 40" - 46"

XL - bust: 36" - 42"       waist: 34" - 40"     booty: 42" - 50"

95% high grade non-pilling eco rayon / 5% spandex

Unlike most man-made fibers, rayon is not synthetic. It is made from wood pulp, a naturally-occurring, cellulose-based raw material. It was also made in a closed-loop process, meaning the by-product that some rayon productions release into the waterways is here re-used and therefore qualifies as an eco fabric.

Care Instructions:

For optimal longevity, wash your dress in cold or warm water and air dry it. While it won't be ruined in the dryer, keep in mind that the lycra and elastic content, which contribute to its amazing stretch, may degrade faster under high heat. This applies to all stretchy fabrics. Additionally, consider looping the tail of the dress over the hanger to reduce strain on the neckline. You want wear and tear to come from wearing it, not from hanging in your closet.

    My favorite dress!

Posted by Annie on 14th Oct 2015

Step up and get your all-purpose gorgeous dress!! I've paired it with heels and bold jewelry and wore it to a wedding last month. I threw on some cowboy boots and a crocheted open cardigan and wore it to apple hill this weekend. I put a leather waist-cinching corset-belt and some antique jewelry and other props and wore it to a Steampunk event! I've worn it to a beach party in LA too! It is transformable and GORGEOUS!!! It's form-fitting and sexy. I am 160 pounds, 23 years old, 5"4 and I would consider myself to be athletic but very curvy. This dress really highlights my curves. Great buy. I have the light rose-purplish one and now I bought the teal one.

This dress looks & feels great on... lots of compliments! I'm 5'7" & usually wear size 6. The medium fits perfectly. My biggest struggle was deciding on a color. The fuchsia is vibrant & beautiful.

I already have this dress in nutmeg which I love, but the lavender is gorgeous! I only wish the Hati top came in that color too. :) Again, beautiful dress. Thank you!

    Definitely a notice me dress

Posted by Amanda on 6th Aug 2014

This dress looks beautiful on, and is very comfortable, and looks good with the wrap top tied over it as well. I can definitely see wearing it with sandals, heels, or boots. I am fairly small, but no matter your size there is a definite need for good lumbar posture, as it really does follow every curve. Note to self: more yoga. ;) The nutmeg actually is the color of nutmeg, not the color pictured online. It is darker and browner than the picture, but it is a beautiful color nonetheless.

OMG. The Dress I've Been Waiting For. (seriously)

Posted by Dawn ZigZag Montefusco on 3rd Jan 2014

You cannot look bad in this dress. However, you CAN dance for hours, be comfortable all night/day and wash it and wear it again and again. I'm going to buy two more. I love it!!!
