I believe that whatever we create after undergoing a transformational or metaphysical experience—whether in the form of song, art, poetry, or any other expression—carries the imprint of the healing we’ve received. That healing lives on in us, and as we create, it encodes itself into the work. The art becomes a living symbol. And when others resonate with it, that energy can unlock and reveal itself in a way unique to each individual.

At first, I thought I would write about my experience. But then I realized that a drawing would ARTticulate it more clearly—more truthfully. I felt compelled to draw a koi. But also, a dragon. I couldn’t quite decide how to honor both impulses.

So I began by studying the shape of a koi—and stumbled into a Japanese legend that felt like an echo of my own journey: the story of the koi fish who swims upstream, driven by dreams and longing, until it reaches the mythical Dragon Gate… where it transforms into its higher self: a dragon.

How perfect, I thought. That’s exactly what I needed to draw.
A metamorsafish.

Because it’s not just caterpillars that become butterflies—
Koi become dragons.
And we, too, become our vaster selves when we listen to the call of our soul and follow our dreams—against the mainstream current, against all odds.

This drawing was done entirely freehand—nothing altered or enhanced on a computer. It was created as a meditation: a steady hand, a quiet mind, and deep listening… in service to the energies that wished to become visible.

The shirt is meant to fit like a second skin. Its not really a loose t-shirt design and will show off your curves and natural shape. 

It is tailored in along the waist and gets bigger around the hips, embellished with elastic rouching around the bottom. It accentuates the female curvy form and will even give the appearance of such even if you do not have an hourglass form and want to give a lil' hip action to a more boyish frame. Yet if you feel a lil' extra squishy in the mid section, it may not be able to wave its magic wand all the way other than helping you embrace the way you are right now regardless of this shirt being perfect for you or not ;) The darker colors will always be more forgiving.

95% high grade non-pilling eco rayon / 5% spandex 

Unlike most man-made fibers, rayon is not synthetic. It is made from wood pulp, a naturally-occurring, cellulose-based raw material. It was also made in a closed-loop process, meaning the by-product that some rayon productions release into the waterways is here re-used and therefore qualifies as an eco fabric. 

Sustainability encompasses not only how items are made but also how they are cared for. For ultimate longevity, wash inside out in warm water and hang dry. While occasional drying on low heat is acceptable, spandex content is generally is heat sensitive and may become brittle faster if stored in a hot place or frequently put into a hot dryer.

For an extra level of awareness, you could wash it in a lingerie bag to prevent the strings from getting tangled with other garments in the wash, although I haven't tried that myself. ;) I'm not that advanced yet... lol
