For Whom I Wish to Create

For Whom I Wish to Create

Posted by Margot Leom on 20th Mar 2024

Initially, when I started creating clothing, it was solely for myself. I designed to feel more at ease and connected within myself. I noticed that altering certain angles and shapes helped me feel more alive and in tune with my sense of true identity. It took some time before I decided to share my creations through my Leom platform. Over time, I came to the realization that hoarding this creativity for myself could lead to stagnation and eventual decline, particularly if I didn't surpass a certain threshold influenced by aspects of ego. Would it truly fill my cup over time to receive compliments for something I was unable to share? Thankfully, my alter ego had different plans, and I came to understand that sharing our talents after savoring the initial connection is essential. So, I began to share my work, and it truly transformed my life, providing both a livelihood and a supportive structure I deeply needed for my creative energy to have a pathway and accountability system to rise to.

I aspire to create for individuals who feel mysteriously more validated and connected to themselves when wearing my designs.

My aim is for people to experience a sense of ease and comfort when wearing Leom.

I design for those who understand that their beauty emanates from within, but shapes and color choices can complement and amplify one's authentic essence.

I strive to create for those who appreciate the creative process and don't take it for granted.

I cater to creatives, unconventional thinkers, and those who cherish ceremonial experiences.

I create for people who value fair trade aka mutual gratitude practices.

I am blessed to work with individuals who embrace kindness, consideration, and gratitude as integral aspects even when navigating through a glitch. It's incredible to see how many kind and emotionally intelligent individuals have embraced Leom over the years. It’s a testament to the underlying intentions at play.

And lastly… If you resonate with these sentiments but find that my designs don't quite match your style, please understand that I'm just one creative individual here. It's not a personal rejection if I'm unable to cater to every body type and style preference. I feel inspired to soon write about all the unique limitations I face to help you understand how much really goes into it all. I always recommend creating what it is you wish to see in the world.

I am just in my chrysalis over here trusting the repeating process of goo turning into something of beauty.
