Moth Medicine Long Sleeve

This totem being came through me on the scorpio eclipse, new moon in 2022. It has since then landed on a few of my designs as a reminder to trust the process of our unfolding. 

Moth. Butterfly of the night. Guardian of the underworld. You who holds my shadow. The place where my essence lays inverted. You see through me and have the capacity to destroy me on a deep cellular level if I fail to recognize that my wounds hold encoded the deepest gifts I came to share.  Metamorphosis of the night. Calling me into balance. Drawn to the flame of transmutation I draw your wings of medicine for me to remember who I am. Am I imperfectly beautiful, evolving piece of art.

I love wearing this incredibly soft and lightweight shirt and pairing it with either a top or a tunic to provide coverage for my belly, or with a high-waisted skirt or pants. The double-layered wrist/thumbhole design not only looks sleek but also adds to the cozy feel. 

It comprises 95% high-grade non-pilling eco rayon / 5% spandex.

Unlike most man-made fibers, rayon is not synthetic. It is made from wood pulp, a naturally occurring, cellulose-based raw material. It was also made in a closed-loop process, meaning the by-product some rayon productions release into the waterways is re-used and therefore qualifies as an eco fabric.

Sustainability encompasses not only how items are made but also how they are cared for. For ultimate longevity, wash in warm water and hang dry. While occasional drying on low heat is acceptable, the spandex content is generally heat sensitive and may become brittle faster if stored in a hot place or frequently put into a hot dryer.
